Esher High School is an 11-16 oversubscribed high performing school. 

We were judged ‘Good’ in our March 2017 Ofsted, marking the start of our journey to outstanding. Recent substantial investment in our facilities has given us an outstanding learning environment. This includes seven new English classrooms. 

We are looking for an English Teacher with initiative, drive and determination. Our students are a motivated and keen and this job will provide an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is:-

  • Passionate about English and able to inspire students
  • Able to demonstrate a positive and creative approach in the classroom
  • Willing to promote and contribute to the full range of extra-curricular activities
  • Keen to share and promote the school’s vision of high standards and success for      all

This post would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or for a NQT. We run a comprehensive and supportive programme at Esher High School. A full induction programme is provided for all new staff and a commitment to continued professional development. Esher High School converted to an academy on the 1 March 2014.
