If you would like to work with high achieving, self motivated enthusiastic and polite students, where staff are well rewarded and valued then please read on!
Tianjin Yinghua Cambridge International School (TYCIS) is quite a unique school and is part of a state-owned but independently-run school, which is well resourced and with good facilities. TYCIS is one of four schools under the main school “umbrella” Tianjin Yinghua International School. TYCIS is the flagship programme and enjoys great success and is oversubscribed as it expands to reach capacity. We will shortly be opening 3 new campuses in other regions of China. This is therefore a great opportunity to join part of a growing learning community. If you are looking to work in an environment that is positive and caring, where students are passionate about learning and achieving, then TYCIS is the place for you! Please check out our website www.yinghua-school.com .
Our students can only be described as excellent, as are their results. They are high achieving and a pleasure to work with. The school is highly academically selective and continues to grow in line with our expectations due to its unparalleled success to date. TYCIS is now entering its fifth year of operation as part of the much larger Yinghua International School, and enjoys an enviable reputation in this region of China. All of our graduates go on to world class universities in the UK, US and elsewhere. At the time of writing 7 out of 34 Year 13 students are awaiting the results of their Oxford or Cambridge university interviews with each of the 34 students having already received offers from Russell Group universities and other quality institutions. We are therefore seeking highly experienced, qualified, enthusiastic and professional teachers to meet the needs of our exceptionally self motivated students.
We offer CAIE IGCSE, AS and A Level programmes to students in Year 10 to Year 13 only. This is therefore a unique opportunity for teachers who wish to work with older students. Whilst the school is a boarding school, our expat teaching staff have no responsibilities or duties with regard to this aspect of the school.
An indicator of the satisfaction of our staff is that our staff turnover rate for the last 2 years has been extremely low.
Please see the attached for some more information and comments from our existing team about their experiences at TYCIS.
Please apply with a full detailed CV with recent photograph and letter of application to firstname.lastname@example.org . We reserve the right to appoint an exceptional candidate before the deadline. Due to the volume of applications it is not possible to acknowledge each application. If you have not heard from us by February 11th you can assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
