A well-qualified, committed and enthusiastic teacher is required within the Communications Faculty in this popular oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school. The successful candidate will contribute to a dedicated and highly successful team. The appointee will teach English Language across the age and ability range up to GCSE. The ability to teach ‘A’ Level English Language would be a distinct advantage. In 2016, over 76% of our Year 11 students gained a higher grade GCSE pass in English Language and / or Literature.
The school is situated in an attractive area close to the border, just 6 miles from Chester and within easy reach of the North Wales coast, Liverpool and Manchester.

Hawarden High School is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school which is oversubscribed and successful. We currently have 1150 pupils on roll, including 180 in our Sixth Form.
