Located in a beautiful Pennine valley within easy access of Manchester and Leeds, this successful, co-educational boarding and day school requires, from September 2020, a full time teacher of English.
 
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, dynamic and inspirational individual to deliver English (and Drama) throughout the School.

Energy, commitment and a willingness to take a full and active part in the broader life of this busy school are essential. The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to the enrichment and extension of the students’ learning experience and supporting children who have specific learning needs.

About Rishworth School

Rishworth School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent day and boarding school situated in Rishworth, West Yorkshire. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes students from all faiths. There are approximately 450 pupils at Rishworth, between the ages of 3-19.

Rishworth School was established in 1724 by John Wheelwright in a small building, now used as the school’s chapel. The junior school, Heathfield opened in 1951. The school is set around 130 acres of parkland. It is a founder member of the Society of Headmasters for Independent Schools (SHMIS). Rishworth and Heathfield both offer an extensive range of learning facilities and share a swimming pool, performing arts centre and playing fields.
