Are you an exceptional and committed teacher of English who is seeking to work within a supportive, dynamic and highly successful Linguistics Faculty? As a key member of the team, you will have the ability to teach across key stages 3 & 4, including the delivery of GCSE English Language and English Literature. We pride ourselves on being a highly innovative and successful faculty and are committed to delivering the syllabus through active learning and digital technologies, utilising our status as a Microsoft Showcase School in which all pupils have access to their own ‘one-to-one’ device.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our vibrant, newly-formed Linguistics Faculty. We have recently become an all-through school, serving pupils from the ages of 4–16, so the opportunity to learn about primary provision and develop expertise in transition is a real advantage of this role. Reading is at the heart of the curriculum at Ribblesdale, as evidenced by our recent three-quarter of a million-pound library renovation. What better place to begin or develop your career as a Teacher of English? It really is an exciting time to join our ambitious and energetic team!

We want a teacher who shares our forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning, who will be able to demonstrate the creativity, flexibility, and resilience needed to offer outstanding opportunities for our pupils – something Ribblesdale School provides in abundance! Our overarching aim is to enable all our pupils to become confident and inquiring individuals and to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and of the written word. We look forward to receiving your application!
