Ofsted report

“Behaviour has improved significantly, and students show good attitudes to learning. Fixed-term exclusions have reduced to below the national average. Students are polite and friendly. They report feeling safe, and are safe in the academy. Most enjoy attending, as demonstrated by their above average attendance. In 2014 students made good progress in English and results in this subject improved. Sixth form students do well on work-related courses. An extensive programme of educational visits, residential trips, including overseas experiences, sporting events and other activities help promote students’ well-being and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.”
