BBIS, the first fully authorised four programme IB World school, has an opening for a Teacher of English Language & Literature. Applicants must be competent in English at a mother-tongue level and be aware of the complexity of language acquisition in an International school. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching Literature up to DP Level (or equivalent). 

He/she will be a team player with the ability to inspire students, use technology as a tool for learning where appropriate, and subscribe to the philosophy of the IB. Ability to work with the whole range of learners of English (Literature & Language courses, Language A & B) is essential. Experience with IB  curricula  is  an  advantage,  although  we  would  also  consider  candidates  with experience in the AP, A-Level, IGCSE or similar, as training can be provided as part of  our  extensive  professional  development.  We  are  interested  in  hearing  from applicants willing to commit themselves to our mission and all aspects of school life.
