Twyford School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 2 – 13. It is one of the oldest prep schools in the country, possibly the oldest. We are proud of our heritage and the beautiful history and architecture around the School. Located on the edge of the South Downs National Park 3 miles outside of the beautiful historic city of Winchester, we embrace Christian values and teach children from the earliest ages to be gracious, considerate and respectful of others.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, engaging Teacher to teach English in the Prep School, liaising closely with the Head of English, teaching various age groups and playing a full and active part in the life of the School. Every teacher at Twyford strives to keep children engaged and enthusiastic about learning and shares a deep passion for the education and happiness of all our pupils. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and inspirational teacher with excellent interpersonal skills to join our School on a temporary maternity cover basis. Hours of work: 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, possibility of a 4.30pm finish if required.
