English is a high achieving and dynamic faculty. Results are outstanding and students make excellent progress. Our English team is totally committed to ensuring successful outcomes for our students. At post-16 we currently offer English and Media which are very popular and highly successful options for our VI Form students. The ability to teach to A-level standard would be welcomed, but is not a pre-requisite for the post. We deliver AQA GCSE Language and Literature and AQA GCSE Media. At A-Level we teach the combined AQA Language/Literature and also Literature. In addition, at post 16 we deliver AQA Media.

The aim is to develop young learners who are able to pick and choose from the best courses at the very best universities worldwide; young people who have a wealth of research experience from working with some of the best academics in their field of interest.
