Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and inspiring English teacher to join our highly regarded and successful English team with effect from September 2021.

You will be joining a committed team of English specialists that strives for creativity and a commitment to high quality teaching and learning in English.


The department ensures that the aims of the English curriculum are embedded across all subjects. Based in West Yorkshire, Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School is a mainstream secondary school for girls and boys aged between 11 and 16. It is a voluntary aided establishment. Its denomination is Roman Catholic. It is based in the town of Meanwood in Leeds. At present, there are currently approximately 918 students enrolled at the school.

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School values religious studies. Children are encouraged to demonstrate their talents and develop new skills by following the rules of Christianity.
