We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated, friendly and hardworking English department in September 2018. The role would suit an NQT or alternatively an experienced Teacher ready to take on additional responsibilities. The Academy received an ‘Outstanding’ grade in all categories from OfSTED in May 2014 and the growing popularity of our school and the consequent increase in student numbers has led to our being oversubscribed from September 2018. The English department currently offers GCSE qualifications in English Literature, Language and Media. At ‘A’ Level we offer English Literature and Media. The ability to teach Key Stage 5 would be of benefit. Progress for students at Arrow Vale is very strong for all sub-groups. We are a designated National Teaching School and National Support School and this is a very exciting time to be joining a highly motivated and successful team. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified as well as more experienced professionals who possess the necessary drive and commitment to work with our students to contribute to the continued improvement of the Academy. In return there will be clear opportunities for personal and professional development.
Interested candidates who wish to have an informal conversation about this role are welcome to contact Mark Healy, Senior Vice-Principal.
