BISJ is the leading British international, not-for-profit school in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia founded in 1977 and is an authorised IB World School with more than 60 nationalities represented among 1400 students aged 2-18.
The Secondary Section students follow a modified England and Wales National Curriculum at KS3, the IGCSE at KS4 and IBDP at KS5. The school is fully accredited by CIS, NEASC, and BSME.
Interested applicants should:
- Hold a degree, and PGCE or QTS;
- Have teaching experience of IGCSE and IB/A-Level;
- Have knowledge and application of current teaching pedagogy;
- Be highly motivated and committed;
- Have high expectations of themselves and the students;
- Possess humour, energy, flexibility and a positive outlook;
- Be open to the many opportunities and some challenges that living in Saudi Arabia will bring.
