We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective teacher of English. Applicants should have a proven track record of success and be committed to further improving teaching and learning as well as student progress within the English department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wishes to develop in a supportive, well-resourced and exciting environment.  The vacancy is suitable for experienced or NQT candidates.

Litherland High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary state school in Litherland, near Liverpool. It caters for 11 to 16-year-old students and has approximately 690 enrolled.

Litherland High School was founded in 1948. The secondary school was rebuilt in 2001 and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for all curriculum areas. In March 2015, it converted to academy status.
