One year contract in the first instance
Required for September 2018. Pay scale: MTPS (place on scale dependent on experience). Applications from NQTs are welcome.
Patcham High School is an 11–16 comprehensive school of 1000 students, situated on the northern outskirts of Brighton, very close to the old village of Patcham. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and we are in an exciting phase of development to become ‘Outstanding’. We are known for our innovative approach and we value CPD very highly.
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English on a one year, full time contract to join our team of committed professionals in a vibrant and successful department.
The successful candidate will:

· A love of teaching and learning
· A commitment to young people and their development
· Have outstanding interpersonal skills;
· Be committed to making English an exciting and fun subject for our students.
· Some knowledge of Media Studies would be an advantage
