We are seeking a well qualified, passionate Teacher of English to join our successful and ambitious department. This is a full time, permanent position, which would suit an NQT or an experienced colleague. St Ivo School is one of the largest Academies in Cambridgeshire. English at St Ivo sees consistently good levels of achievement at all key stages (our GCSE results in summer 2017 were 67% 4+ for English Language and 74% 4+ English Literature). There is also a large uptake of our English Literature course at A-Level, one of the most popular courses in the Sixth Form, where results are again well above the national average. Our departmental staff are all provided with the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range.
