Teacher of English

The Landau Forte Academy QEMS and Landau Forte Academy Sixth Form, Tamworth, Staffordshire opened on 1 September 2011. The Academy is a member of the Landau Forte Charitable Trust Academies. Both Academies share a campus and some facilities but are in their own distinct buildings.

We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, dynamic, ambitious and creative teacher of English to join our thriving and committed English team to teach English at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will be:

• Ambitious for themselves and their students.
• Intelligent and clear thinking with a broad and in-depth understanding of the importance of English within children’s learning and broader education.
• Relevant qualifications (both formal and through appropriate experience) to meet the challenge of the specific appointment.
• Skilled in the use of ICT for teaching and learning.
• Committed to the broader education and social development of young people.
• A genuine commitment to making a positive contribution to the Academy and most importantly a difference to the lives of young people including their educational and broader achievement, self- esteem and confidence, social wellbeing and future employability.
