“The school’s work to promote pupils’ personal development and welfare is good. Pupils feel very safe and well-cared-for. Pupils are smart and wear their uniform well. Pupils take pride in their environment so that the 1960s  building is in very good condition and there is very little litter around the site. They are clear about who they could talk to if they have a concern."

"Teachers know pupils well and pupils say that their teachers are approachable. The school has effective strategies to support more vulnerable pupils in the ‘Hub’ and in the library. When interviewed, pupils who have special educational needs reported that they felt ‘other pupils really look out for you’”.
