Institut Le Rosey is a dual-language (English and French) co-educational IB World School for 430 pupils with a unique two-campus system.
The school seeks to appoint an English literature graduate to teach pre-IB (UK years 8 to 11, US grades 7 to 10) beginning in September 2018. The curriculum for these years is our own, and no external assessment is done before the IBDP (sixth form, grades 11-12). The majority of our students have mother tongues other than English, but almost all speak and write at a high level, and most of the teaching in the English department is literature-based.
The school is outstandingly well resourced with a 22,000-volume library and an impressive new arts and learning centre, and a progressive and highly active CPD programme.
The successful applicant will be a native level speaker of English, a keen reader and an adaptable, creative teacher who enjoys collaboration.
On-campus accommodation is provided and conditions of work are attractive. The teacher appointed will be expected to play an active role in boarding school in life. Further details at https://www.rosey.ch/information/employment/

Further details will be sent to all short-listed candidates. Interviews will take place in London and/or Switzerland in December or January.
