This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a team of extremely driven and supportive English specialists in one of the most successful schools in the city.  The role offers a career development opportunity for an experienced teacher to take departmental responsibility for Key Stage 4 Standardisation and Co-ordination. 

To succeed in the role you will have:  

• An excellent track record of classroom teaching, with experience of teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5 

• A comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum 

• The ability to motivate and inspire achievement in young people 

• The interpersonal and organisational skills to work within a team 

• A clear commitment to improving your own and others’ performance through effective continuous professional development 

• An innovative individual who can create and share dynamic resources across the department
