Hemsworth Arts and Community Academy is part of Wakefield City Academies Trust (WCAT). We are a popular 11 to 19 Specialist Community Academy working closely in partnership with WCAT and the Hemsworth pyramid of schools. Hemsworth Arts and Community Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in Hemsworth in West Yorkshire. The secondary school, which converted to academy status on 1 August 2013, has 1,448 students on its roll, 238 of whom are in the sixth form. It is part of the Wakefield City Academies Trust.
