Opened in 2014, Holyport College has quickly established itself as an ambitious and dynamic school. We are one of the most over-subscribed schools in our area and open our Sixth Form in September 2017. We seek an ambitious and innovative teacher who will join us this September to teach English using our brand new facilities to motivated and well-mannered students. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, committed to teaching enjoyable and challenging lessons and establishing excellent relationships with the students.
Situated in the picturesque village of Holyport, close to Windsor, Maidenhead and London, Holyport College is the country’s first state day and boarding free school and has Eton College as its sole education sponsor. Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from Eton College and the use of some of its facilities will add a unique dimension to your work.

Holyport College was founded under the Government’s free school programme as the UK’s first State Boarding free school and is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 – 19 years, providing an outstanding, all-round education, opening in 2014.
Approximately 45% of our pupils are boarders and accordingly we operate a longer school day than traditional day schools, offering a full and varied co-curriculum to all students with many activities taking place in the evening or at weekends, as well as in the afternoons.
From 11-16 we are a fully comprehensive school teaching our traditional academic curriculum to students from across the ability range. At Sixth Form, we are academically selective, offering an aspirational academic pathway with entry criteria to match.
