We are looking for a creative, passionate and dynamic professional to join our exciting and thriving English department; to help enthuse and excite students about using their own language, enjoying reading and studying literature. The English team is made up of a Curriculum Team Leader, Key Stage Co-ordinators and a further seven other team members. The department achieves very high standards and results at GCSE.  The subject is very popular post 16 with approximately 60 students studying English Literature or English Combined in the Sixth Form.

The successful candidate will be able to teach English at KS3 and KS4.  We are looking for a well-qualified candidate; this post would suit an experienced English teacher and NQTs equally. Along with English the successful candidate will have the ability to teach KS3 History.
