Job overview

Ryde School seeks to appoint a full-time Teacher of English who will also work some hours within the Learning Support Department in the Senior Section of the School (KS3 to Sixth Form). The ability to teach up to A Level and IBDP level English is a requirement and it is desirable that candidates have some experience working closely with or supporting pupils with SEND but this is not a prerequisite. This role may also suit an early-career teacher looking to develop skills working in Learning Support.

All teaching staff at the School are expected to be outstanding practitioners in the classroom and to contribute to the busy co-curricular life in the School. 

The successful candidate will be able to take up the post in September 2023.
