An exciting opportunity has arisen  within the English Department for a Teacher of English with  responsibility for raising standards for a Year group. We seek to  appoint a well-qualified and passionate Teacher who can enthuse students  with an infectious love of English and literature.

Our Academy is a learning community of  outstanding teachers and staff who wish to make a positive difference to  the young people we serve. This vacancy has arisen due to expansion of  the College and oversubscription for Year 7 places in September 2018.

The successful candidate will be joining  one of the most exciting English departments in the country and have  the opportunity to continue to develop professionally in a well led and  supportive environment.

John Henry Newman Catholic College is  committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people  and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The  successful candidate will, therefore, be required to undertake an  Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as well  as providing evidence of qualifications.
