Your opportunity

We offer the opportunity to develop as a Practitioner of Excellence within Chestnut Park, supporting the further leadership of teaching and learning across the school. As an experienced and consistently outstanding teacher you will play a key role, alongside a team of four ‘Practitioners of Excellence,’ to further strengthen the quality of education across the school. This exciting role will require you to support Lesson Study, Team Teaching and Coaching whilst leading within our curricula teams approach, supporting a key area of the curriculum in either English, Mathematics, Science or Computing. 

The class teacher will work in partnership with the wider leadership team and senior leadership team to provide professional guidance and support in teaching across the curriculum. The right candidate will have the passion and knowledge to drive standards forward in a specific area. They will have the responsibility of a class as well as leadership time to ensure their strategies can be embedded across the school.

An interest in research plays an essential pre-requisite for this role.
