Job overview

We are seeking a well-qualified artist and teacher whose specialism falls within the Fine-Art field, we are particularly interested in sculpture utilizing clay and ceramics but will also include general art teaching. The teaching will be with pupils in years 7 to 13 either with a whole class or individually one on one with more advanced candidates.  

We are looking for someone who has good drawing skills, good ICT skills, an ability to teach holistically across a wide range of techniques and approaches and who has a good knowledge of historical and contemporary artists. Applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers as well as those with some experience. The department provides a good training ground for those who hope to proceed to a post of Head of Art.
