This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our academy in Northumberland and to develop your career at the same time as making a difference in the lives of our students.    

You will be involved in developing a creative and inspiring curriculum within the Vocational Studies team and will be part of our collaborative approach to planning.  You will make a great addition to the team if you are committed to delivering the best teaching, learning and assessment opportunities for our students and are capable of inspiring and motivating others through your passion for Food and Childcare.  

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they are capable of delivering consistently excellent classroom teaching and learning, and that they are energetic, enthusiastic, creative and resilient.  Knowledge of current educational thinking and strategies to raise attainment is expected, alongside the experience of having taught to GCSE level and the ability to teach to KS5. 

You will be based at our Josephine Butler Secondary Campus in excellent facilities which provide the Academy with a wide range of educational opportunities. We are an exciting and innovative Academy, committed to continuous improvement and aiming to raise aspirations and inspire achievement for the children and young people that we serve.
