An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant school community. We seek to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner who consistently demonstrates the highest standards of delivery, is fully committed to raising attainment across all key stages and always achieve the highest standards within the department. The successful candidate will play a key role within the Design & Technology department in the continuing development of Food Preparation and Nutrition across all key stages. 


We are looking for a positive and proactive teacher who is happy to be hands on and immerse themselves within the school community. Loreto is looking for a teacher that is passionate about teaching Food and Nutrition and looking for the opportunity to join a committed and supportive department.

The successful candidate will be an experienced or outstanding recently qualified teacher with: 


• The ability or potential to teach inspirational outstanding lessons;

• A commitment to Loreto High School’s high expectations and powerful ethos;

• The ability to teach a range of abilities across both key stages;

• Excellent subject knowledge;

• Knowledge and understanding of current teaching and learning strategies in Food and Nutrition

• A desire to work collaboratively and to make a real contribution to the development of our department and the progress of our students;

• The resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our students

• An understanding of or experience in implementing successful intervention programmes.
