We are looking to recruit a Teacher of Food & Nutrition to start September 2018.

Bitterne Park School is a large community school with a strong tradition of academic achievement. We provide an excellent education for 11-19 year olds, set within the Bitterne Park Community.   Our core values of Community; Achievement; Respect; Relationships and Enjoyment permeate all that we aspire to be.

We have recently moved into a brand new £22 million pound building with excellent facilities within our DT faculty area.  The Food Department fits into the Design Faculty that oversees the visual Arts and Design subjects. With 6 full time leaders, 2 technicians and other teachers who support the Design Faculty we are a strong supportive group who enjoy working together in championing our area and enabling students to achieve the very best and high levels of creative imagination in the many mediums and medias we teach. We constantly seek to develop our practice and look to use new creative developments both in our areas and in teaching and learning. As well as a purposeful and busy Key stage 3 in Art & Design, Photography, Fine Art and Graphic Communication, GCSE and A level are an important and popular choice for our students to follow having had many successful students go onto foundation courses and degree courses.

We are looking for someone to join our team and be part of the journey to maintain high standards and develop innovation to engage students in a love of learning.
