The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Food and Nutrition. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a small team within the faculty group, teaching Food and Nutrition effectively at KS3 and KS4. Pupils within the department are prepared for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition examinations and other qualifications as appropriate. The post-holder will develop and follow departmental schemes of work and be skilled in the planning and preparation of lessons, as well as the assessment of pupils’ work, in accordance with all school policies and procedures. The post-holder will report to the Assistant Head (Curriculum) and, ultimately, the Headmaster.
