Full Time  / Permanent / Salary Scale: Godolphin Teacher Salary Scale (Points 1 – 9, £25,000 - £41,369)

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Food and Nutrition to join our successful team at Godolphin School. Food and Nutrition is taught to students from the First Year to the Sixth Form and we offer a number of different courses. It is a compulsory subject in the first three years and is taught as part of a rotation system with Design and Technology. The majority of the work in the lower school is practically based. It can then be chosen to be studied at GCSE (Food Preparation and Nutrition - AQA) and Level 3 (Food, Science and Nutrition - WJEC) in the sixth form. In recent years, students have gone on to study Food related subjects at University and other institutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is an outstanding and inspirational teacher, to join a learning department that prepares pupils to take part in the development of tomorrow’s rapidly changing world through their studies of Food,  and to ensure they combine practical skills with an understanding of aesthetic, social and environmental issues, as well as functions and industrial practices.
