TEACHER OF FOOD & TEXTILES 

(Full Time Temporary Maternity contract) 

Range: MPS 

Required December 2017   

We seek a motivated, creative and inspiring classroom practitioner who can deliver consistently good or outstanding lessons, enthusing and engaging students to achieve their full potential.  The role will cover maternity leave, and is expected to be temporary for one year.  Able to teach across all abilities at Key Stages 3 & 4, the successful candidate will be passionate about promoting the teaching and learning of Food & Textiles and have a strong commitment towards extra-curricular activities.  The ability to teach Child Development and other Technology disciplines would be advantageous but not essential.  

If you are an effective and innovative teacher who is fully committed towards raising standards and improving results, then we would welcome your application.  We are part of a multi-academy trust and our sponsor is an outstanding Academy and a National Teaching School. They operate the Outstanding Teacher Programme (OTP) which provides a route for further excellent professional development.

Sir William Stanier School is part of The Learning Partnership.
