Bradford Forster Academy is a new 11-16 Church of England secondary Academy and part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT), a growing Christian Multi-Academy Trust based in Bradford.  The Academy opened on 1st September 2015 and now has 740 students on roll in years 7, 8, 9 and 10 and will grow to five year groups in September 2019.  Within BDAT there is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of growing diverse schools.

We are seeking to expand our Technology and Creative Arts Faculty with the appointment of an outstanding Food Preparation and Nutrition teacher. This is an exciting opportunity that offers candidates the chance to play a key role in shaping and developing a curriculum that ensures that pupils enjoy their lessons; are challenged appropriately; make expected academic progress over time; and develop both life and career skills. As the first dedicated food teacher at the academy, you will be responsible for delivering a KS4 food course to pupils for the first time since the academy opened.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join an academy with a culture of professional learning and reflection and one which works effectively with its community to bring about sustainable improvements.

The successful candidate will be:
