Required for September 2019
The Mountbatten School is a highly successful 11-16 co-educational school. GCSE results are excellent by both attainment and progress measures. Whilst we have a strong EBAC tradition, all areas of the curriculum are strong and valued.
The School is committed to the importance of the Technology curriculum for all students. Facilities, for example, have been recently refurbished and are amongst the very best in the area. The suite of rooms includes three workshops, one textiles room and two large food rooms. In addition, there is good CADCAM provision, two laser cutters and a 3D printer. Food and Nutrition and Hospitality and Catering are very popular options at GCSE.
The successful applicant will be required to teach Food Technology although all Technology staff must be flexible with which GCSE components they teach.
