Holy Cross College is seeking to appoint a permanent Teacher of French (0.6 to 0.8 FTE) to commence from 21st August 2024.

You will join us on a, permanent basis with a salary of £30,500 - £47,133 per annum, pro rata p.a. plus excellent benefits! 

We are looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of French to work effectively with students to develop and practise their language skills across all four skill areas, improve the variety and sophistication of their vocabulary and grammatical use, develop their understanding of the societies and cultures of the French speaking world, respond to essay titles on a film and a literary text and prepare for their Independent Research Project for the speaking exam. The appointed teacher will have the ability to inspire and motivate students in their studies, liaise and oversee the work of the French language assistant and to contribute generally to the development of the Modern Languages Department.
