Full Time
Competitive Salary & Benefits
Start Date: ASAP
Bonjour! We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented and creative Teacher of French, to join our dynamic MFL department. With a desire to achieve excellent teaching standards and the ability to inspire across the span of key stages, applicants should be engaging, passionate about their subject and hold the belief that all pupils should have a lifelong love of languages.
Working in a professional, welcoming and vibrant environment, you will ensure each pupil is nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential. We want to appoint the best candidate and will therefore welcome applications from those keen to take the next step in their career (RQTs) and those who are newly qualified (NQTs). There is also currently the opportunity for an experienced Teacher of French to take on the Head of French role.
As well as a genuine passion for excellence in academic and pastoral care, and inspired by our School’s ethos, all teachers are expected to contribute to our outstanding variety of co-curricular and supra-curricular activities.
In addition to a competitive salary, we are committed to the wellbeing and development of all our staff, promoting continuous professional development, pension, staff discount, membership of the superb Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre and free meals.
Closing date for applications: Friday 4 September 2020 but may close early if the right candidate is found. All applications must be made using a Truro School application form.
Interviews are currently scheduled to take place week commencing Monday 14 September 2020. Depending on Government advice in place at the time of interview, we may utilise virtual or remote interview processes.
