Benenden School are seeking a well-qualified Teacher of French to join our lively and successful Modern Languages faculty.
The candidate must be able to teach up to and including A Level. The ability to teach a second language or subject would be an advantage but not essential. The post is suitable either for an experienced teacher seeking a new challenge in a beautiful and supportive school, or a graduate looking for their first teaching post. There would be the opportunity to train under the School Direct scheme in the second year of post.
The department is thriving and is one of the largest in the School. It enjoys its own suite of classrooms, conversation rooms and offices and all classrooms are equipped with electronic boards and our teaching makes full use of the ICT facilities and Internet. We have recently been awarded Confucius Classroom status.
Benenden School is a thriving independent boarding school for girls situated in 240 acres of beautiful parkland in rural Kent. Accommodation may be available and there are many opportunities to become involved in the life of the School.
The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
