St Peter’s School Huntingdon as part of The CAM Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, excellent practitioner with a passion for French, who is committed to bringing imaginative ideas to the classroom.   The successful candidate must have strong behaviour management skills and be able to engage students in lessons at all times. Working with a team of specialist language teachers in a successful department you will teach French across KS3 and KS4 and, depending on experience, may be required to teach to A Level.  

St Peter’s is a successful, dynamic and inclusive 11–18 comprehensive Academy, recently graded by Ofsted as ‘Good’. A focus on learning and academic performance is complemented by care, guidance and support of outstanding quality. Staff support and high quality Professional Development are a priority.

The successful candidate will lead the department’s KS3 curriculum and assessment cycle, in order to ensure that all students are prepared for the transition in to Key Stage 4.

St Peter’s School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Cambridgeshire, serving students between the ages of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Huntingdon has approximately 983 students on record. 

St Peter’s School was established in 1870 and converted to academy status in 2011.
