Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our highly successful Geography Department. Applications are welcomed from experienced or newly qualified teachers. 

We are looking for:

• Excellent teaching skills.

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 and potentially KS5

• High expectations of self and students.

• Effective communication and organisational skills.

St. Mark’s:

• Was graded outstanding in all categories by Ofsted in the last inspection.

• Enjoys an excellent reputation and is heavily oversubscribed.

• Is committed to supporting and developing its staff.

• Is friendly and welcoming with a strong Catholic ethos.

• Has an outstanding Geography Department with excellent Geography facilities.

• Achieves consistently high academic results in Geography:

-      2022 GCSE results: 42.3% 9-7, 83.3% 9-5 and 91% 9-4

-      2022 A Level results: 100% A*-B
