We are currently looking for a talented and committed Teacher of Geography to join our high-performing department. There are over 100 girls studying GCSE Geography across Years 10 and 11 and approximately 50 studying the subject at A level and IB. We also have a number of girls who go on to study Geography at university.
You would be joining our supportive and driven department. We welcome applications from all experience levels including NQTs. The successful applicant should have evidence of being, or have the clear potential to be, an outstanding Teacher of Geography. Ideally you will have experience of teaching across all key stages, including exam groups, but most importantly you should demonstrate a passion for the subject and be an ambitious teacher who will ensure excellent progress for all students.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of five specialist teachers. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided.
All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life of the College, but there are no residential duties.
As one of the world’s leading schools, and with a strong pioneering heritage, our aim is to embody excellence, independence and empowerment in the education of young women. You will join a friendly and supportive community of committed professionals who believe that girls are at the heart of all we do. We are ambitious for their futures, collectively and individually, and have been so for over 165 years.
Applications are welcome from graduates and teachers from either the independent or maintained sector or someone who is looking to enter the profession.
