Contract:                   Temporary - 1-year maternity contract; Sept 2023-June/July 2024

Required for September 2023 a well-qualified teacher of Geography to teach across the age and ability range in a faculty that achieves excellent results and high standards. This is a one-year maternity cover, though there may be the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the year. Candidates may be required to teach other Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3. Geography is a very popular subject at GCSE and A Level and many of our pupils go on to study it at university. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative individual to join an outstanding and committed Faculty. The enrichment offered to pupils is extensive including local, national and international trips and visits as well as clubs and themed events in school. The friendly and collaborative work environment in the Humanities Faculty encourages continuous professional development and career progression for staff. We welcome applications from experienced staff and from ECTs and would be able to support ECT induction for the period of employment.
