A ‘good’ non-selective 11-16 academy supported by ethos and values of the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT).
Every child is known, valued and supported to achieve in all areas.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for Geography. The person appointed will have the ability to teach at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher who will be provided with support and training from the school and trust to achieve excellent results. An ability to deliver Humanities to KS3 would be desirable. The school is part of CMAT, who will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to learn and develop within the trust of schools, whether an NQT or an experienced colleague.
We have high expectations of our students and provide a high-quality education based on the principle of achievement and opportunity for all, so that our students develop as responsible, cultured and employable young people. In 2016, the Academy achieved its best results with a Progress 8 score putting us in the ‘above average’ category nationally. Nearly a third of all students achieved the English Baccalaureate.
