Francis Holland Regent’s Park is a leading independent day school for girls aged from 11-18, located in Marylebone, central London. There are currently over 550 pupils on roll. Francis Holland Regent’s Park was named as one of the top 50 independent schools in the UK in The Sunday Times’ Parent Power rankings for 2025.

Francis Holland Regent’s Park was founded in 1878 by the Reverend Canon Francis Holland. It was originally opened in Baker Street, where it remained until 1915, before relocating to a new purpose-built site near Clarence Gate. The school has since expanded to include a state of the art Sixth Form Centre, Linhope House, just a few minutes’ walk from the main building on Ivor Place. The school is governed by the Francis Holland Schools Trust along with its sister schools Francis Holland Sloane Square and Francis Holland Preparatory School.

ISI report

In their March 2025 report, ISI inspectors recognised the strong educational provision at Francis Holland Regent’s Park, identifying the school’s “harmonious and respectful community in which pupils feel that their voices are heard, and their identities are respected.” The report also highlights that:

• “Pupils develop advanced critical and intellectual approaches to academic work.”
• “Teachers encourage pupils to explore and debate topics beyond the plan of the lesson and challenge them to refine their arguments.”
• “Leaders emphasise to pupils their responsibility to serve others and articulate the school’s cornerstone value of compassion.”
