An outstanding teacher of Geography is required from September 2018. The post will involve teaching at all levels within the School. The City of London School has a long-standing record of high academic achievement (89% A* - B at A Level in 2017) and this is reflected in recent Geography results (89% A* - B at A-level, 91% A*-A at GCSE in 2017). Candidates will be expected to contribute to the fieldwork programme. The Department follows the CIE IGCSE Specification and Pre U (CIE) for Sixth Form. We expect all staff to be fully involved in school life.
The School occupies fine, modern buildings near St. Paul’s Cathedral overlooking the Thames, opposite the Tate Modern.
Salary will be paid on the CLS scale (£33,450 -£54,850 pa 2017-2018).
