TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY (LONG TERM MATERNITY COVER)  

Full Time - Required for September 2018  

MPR / UPR Scale  

As a Teacher of Geography you will need to have a passion and a drive to inspire students of all ages and ability as well as a commitment to the love of geography and a willingness to promote all aspects of geography learning. You will be need to play an active role in raising the profile of geography and ensure your curriculum provision is appropriate, challenging, and inspirational for all. You must take pride in your students and be an outstanding practitioner who places their students at the heart of all decisions. In return, working in the Geography department at Teesdale School provides you with the opportunity to work with amazing students, in a supportive small department that allows you to play your role in inspiring the minds of tomorrow.   

Applicants must have excellent subject knowledge and will be expected to teach across the full age and ability range.   

The successful candidate will:
