Sutton Community Academy is a place where people learn, grow, share, and discover their full potential.
Operating at the heart of Academy Transformation Trust gives our people unrivalled scope for personal and professional development – just one of the reasons that most of them stay with us until they gain promotion or choose to retire.
We train our teachers to bring out the best in each and every pupil, and place strong emphasis on good behaviour, so that nobody is held back or prevented from developing. The same applies to our staff: we invest heavily in CPD, so that today’s excellent teachers can become tomorrow’s inspiring school leaders, either here or elsewhere in the Trust.
This is a place for ambitious teachers: people who want to champion innovative classroom practice, challenge conventional wisdom and find exciting ways to bring learning to life.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Geography following a retirement. You will be a professional with the ability to teach from KS3 to KS5 Geography. You will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver exciting and innovative lessons across all key stages. You will be joining an established and dynamic Humanities faculty, aiming to create a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
Your ideas will help to take us to the next level and empower pupils to discover new and involving extracurricular activities.
Ultimately, this is an academy that you have to experience for yourself, so we encourage you to visit the Academy and meet our Principal to discover what’s possible.
