Bradfield School is looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Geography to cover a maternity leave. You will join a team of experienced practitioners, able to offer a new colleague advice and support in an environment which enables our staff and students to thrive. The successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to the work of the department and ideally the wider school.

The post will involve the teaching of Geography at KS3 and will be an excellent professional development opportunity for aspiring Geography teachers allowing them to work in a school with extremely high academic expectations. Although the timetable is not completed for September the contract may be split over 4 days (if so it will be in half-day blocks).

Bradfield is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Worrall, Sheffield. It is supported by the single-academy Bradfield School Trust. An average-sized secondary, it will provide 1,250 places for secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.

The school gained academy status in December 2012 and opened its sixth-form in September 2013.
