We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional qualified teacher to join us as a Teacher of Geography from September 2023 or January 2024.
You should be an outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge who is passionate about sharing that knowledge with our pupils.
We are looking for a teacher who displays the following characteristics:
· Enthusiasm for working with 11-16 year old pupils.
· A desire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
· A passion for geography and fieldwork.
· Excellent ICT skills that make learning visible in the classroom.
· Excellent subject knowledge and a continued desire to develop further.
Our pupils are a pleasure to teach and make excellent progress as shown by the positive examination data.
As a new member of staff you will receive plenty of support from colleagues and from the wider group community.
We also expect staff to undertake a pastoral role as a form tutor. There are also opportunities to get involved in the wider life of the school through trips and extracurricular activities.
Any applicant should hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree to be considered for this post.
