An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our German department. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to start in September 2019 (July 2019 to NQTs). The role also provides the opportunity to teach in the French department.

The School
Aylesbury Grammar School is a highly successful, selective, state funded 11-18 boys’ school with c.180 boys in each of the seven year groups. Pupils qualify and transfer under the 11+ system, and we take approximately the top 30% of the academic ability range. Our pupils are exceptionally well-behaved and genuinely want to learn. OFSTED have commented that “the pupils’ positive attitude to learning is a major strength”. In addition to raw results which put us in the top schools in the county and the country, we have highly positive value-added at iGCSE, GCSE and A levels.
