A part-time vacancy has arisen for an outstanding teacher of German to join our College Avenue site from September 2018. You will be committed to raising standards at all levels, delivering excellent lessons and enthusing pupils through your passion for the subject. We invite applications from experienced practitioners or newly qualified teachers to join our highly committed and professional team. 

This is a part time post covering approximately 50% of timetable delivering German to our Senior Girls.

To be successful in this role, you must be:- 

· Suitably qualified with QTS in the appropriate subject and age range

· An excellent practitioner able to teach German from KS3 to KS4. Applicants able to teach to KS5 will have a distinct advantage

· Passionate in using your knowledge of current theory and practice in teaching and learning to provide highly effective curriculum delivery, in a stimulating and enjoyable way 

· Ready to utilise the benefits of an independent curriculum that is innovative and flexible in terms of delivery and content 

· An enthusiastic team player, willing to participate fully in the School’s extra-curricular programme and wider school life 

· Engaged with the School's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team.

Claires Court School – The Sixth Form is a mixed, non-denominational, 16-18 sixth form, situated in Maidenhead in Berkshire. The Sixth Form is part of an all-through independent school which has 983 students on the school roll aged between 3 and 18, 112 students of whom are in the sixth form. The independent school was founded in 1960 but the co-educational sixth form was opened more recently in 1994.
